I remember when Tim had his MD Player and then I got one (Sony Net MD!) so we were all walking around with them! I think even Matt got one in the end! But I do feel your pain as the SonicStage software that came with the player was Sony's DRM attempt to mimic iTunes ... I think ... And it failed too!

I am a proud owner of a Sharp MD100s, and few months back I miss-placed the "BeatJam CD" that came with the MD player. I searched the web for days on end, but Justsystem or anyone else could not help me to get a free replacement or download alternative.

I was so sick & frustrated that I gave-up using the MD player all-together. But than the God's smiled upon me and my gf found the BeatJam CD in my old stuff storage.

Now to repay the God's, I am willing to help anyone for FREE around the world who need a copy of BeatJam or Sony's OpenMG. Please, e-mail me at , and your prayers will be answered.

what a stress. but is it possible the actual unit is a dud? that because it was a display model and you didn't get all the accessories that the poor little thing's confused? you state the case so well here, is it too late to complain at richer sounds or to sharp themselves telling them their distributor sucks for selling an incomplete model?
